Great Grove Hill Bake Off

On the 18th October Grove Hill is hosting a ‘Great Grove Hill Bake Off’ event in support of the charity Tearfund, and their No Child Taken campaign.

This vital campaign aims to protect 50,000 vulnerable children from trafficking, disease and disaster.

Each year 1.2 million children across the world are trafficked.

As part of Anti-Slavery day on the 18th October we are supporting Tearfund in their efforts to turn the tide.

The Bake Off is taking place at the church between 2.30pm and 4.30pm. We will have cakes for sale, free tea and coffee and the chance to win a price by providing your own show stopping cake on the theme of Autumn.

You can drop off your wonderful creations at the church between 11am and 2.30pm on the day. During the event we will also be hosting ‘technical challenges’ including decorating contests.

We would love to see you there. All proceeds will be going toward Tearfund’s No Child Taken campaign.
