About us

Grove Hill Evangelical Church is a friendly local church serving the South Woodford area (North East London).

Our great priority is to introduce people to Jesus Christ so that they can come to know Him for themselves as Lord and Saviour. We are convinced that God still speaks to us today through the Bible, and we constantly seek to better understanding what He is saying by hearing it explained and studying it together.

We welcome people of all ages to be part of the church at Grove Hill and regularly run Christianity Explored courses for those who want to find out more about Jesus. We have more than 16 different nationalities represented in the church and rejoice in the variety this brings. You can read about what to expect in our Sunday Services here. 

We also believe church involves more than meetings on Sunday, so there are a range of other activities including home Bible study groups, prayer times, events and youth activities.

The church is affiliated to the FIEC (Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches) and seeks to base its teaching and life on the Bible. Please feel free to come along and meet us.
