‘Come and See!’
It sounds like an invitation to a movie, but it was so much more.
At the first Easter when some of the followers of Jesus cam to visit his tomb, they were invited by an angel to ‘Come and see the place where he lay. Then go and tell his disciples “He has risen from the dead.”
They had known Jesus was a good man, with power to overcome many evil things, but this event revealed his true divine quality.
So the next time they met Jesus ‘They worshipped him.’
There is clearly more to Jesus than many of us may realise.
This Easter we invite you to ‘Come and see’ something of Jesus for yourself.
